They do offer a job placement service and help with CVs, which is cool. It's not a guarantee you'll land a job immediately, but they point you in the right direction and have resources.

I looked at both. TEFL Institute of Ireland seemed to have slightly better reviews for support and course content quality from what I saw. Both are recognized though.

How does the Level 5 TEFL compare to, say, a CELTA? Is it just as good for teaching gigs?

From what I hear, the Level 5 is definitely up there. CELTA is more hands-on teaching practice, but the Level 5 is widely accepted and often more affordable. Depends on your budget and how you learn best.

I got a job with my Level 5 no problem. CELTA is like the gold standard but the Level 5 is a really strong contender and recognised by most employers.

If you're serious about teaching and want more in-depth knowledge, the 180-hour or even the 300-hour hybrid could be a better investment. It just covers more ground and looks better on a CV.
